Course content
Basic concepts. The architecture of modern universal processor. State of wait states, hold a halt. Simplified processor timing. Addresses and addressing in computer. Computer architectures. Memory system of the computer. Data transfers in computer system. Interrupt system of processor. Direct memory access. Multiprocessor systems. Backed up systems. Interconnection networks. Data conflicts and principles of their elimination. Leap conflicts and branch prediction circuits. Speculative execution of instructions. Didactic principles of teaching in selected thematic units. Realization of teaching simulation models and verification operating principle of selected structures in a computer system.
