Course content
- reaction and adaptation of movement, cardiovascular, respiratory and endocrine system to physical load - specificity of movement activities of women (differences from men) - movement activity and age (childhood, old age) - states connected with sport training: fatigue, sports form, overtraining, overstress - energy supplies for muscle work, aerobic and anaerobic metabolism - evaluation of cardio-respiratory capacity with use of load test - practical demonstration - recommended movement activity in primary and secondary prevention (metabolic syndrome, obesity) - thermoregulation and physical load, problems of adaptation to higher altitude

  • Contact hours - 24 hours per semester
  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 10 hours per semester

Students enter into subject with basic knowledges from human anatomy, human physiology and sports medicine.

Students: - use and explain terms from load physiology in connection to anatomical and physiological knowledge - apply theoretical knowledge of load physiology to model situations from physical education and sport - use basic methods of function diagnostics during examination in load
