Course content
This course is intended for students with different medical handicap. Classes are held at a slower pace (an individual approach is stressed) for differently handicaped students. Swimming is supplemented by remedial exercises on dry land and rehabilitation exercises in a small swimming pool (water 32° C). This subject is also intended for students who have been operated on their knees ,ankles, etc., and after-injury rehabilitation is practised with them.

learning outcomes
Students with temporary handicaps of physical development (injury, operation) get acquainted with exercises on dry land and in water, which lead to the improvement of their muscle disbalance caused by an injury. Students get systematically prepared for their full involvement in specialized courses. After successful completion of the course students with different kinds of handicaps and disorders (movement, subtlety) should be able to choose and practise swimming exercises suitable for their handicap.
