Course content
1) Entrepreneurship. Company environment. Business opportunities in sports. 2) Typology of companies. 3) Company financing. Company effectiveness and its categories. 4) Asset and capital structure of a company. 5) Business plan. 6) Concept and characteristics of management. Strategic management. Sport management. 7) Concept of marketing and its tools. 8) Marketing management and sports. Marketing information system. 9) Product. Life cycle of a product. 10) Communication and promotion. 11) Setting of prices in marketing. 12) Distribution channels 13) Sponsoring in physical education and sports.

  • Undergraduate study programme term essay (20-40) - 30 hours per semester

Student gain theoretical and practical knowledge about economy, management and marketing. Student is able: - to use the basic economic terms, - to identify main categories and types of company, - to use the main management and marketing terminology, - to specify the marketing mix and its particular components.

Student is able: - to formulate the business plan, - to choose the available tools and metods in managing of sport companies, - to work with particular tools of marketing mix and use them in managing activities of sport companies.
