Course content
1. Characteristics of metal materials, metallurgy production steels failures in steels. Mark steel according to CSN EN 10027 ? 2. Examination of materials ? destructive testing ? nondestructive testing 3. Corrosion, erosion, abrasion, cavitation 4. Heat treatment - theory heat treatment of steel, cast iron, nonferrous metals, thermomechanic treatment 5. Founding, melting of metals and their alloies. Foundry moulds, composite cores 6. Forming, forging Cold forming, hot forming, recrystallic diagrams, Rolling, drawing 7. Machining, cutting Mechanical, electrochemical, chemical machining ?cutting Turning works ? lathes, planing, paring, boring, shaving, grinding lathes, planer, milling machine, drilling machine, gun-boring machine 8. Unconventional method of cutting, electroerrosive cutting, electrochemical cutting cutting with electron ray, with photons ray (laser) Tool and high speed steels - materials 9. Welding - pressure welding -resistance welding, fussion welding, gas welding, arc and electroslag welding, plasma, electron, ultrasonic and laser welding 10. Weldability of steels and alloies, Schaeffler diagram Cold and hot fracka. Relaxation and laminated cracks 11. Structure and calculation of welded joints, verification. in agreement with CSN EN ISO 9001:2001, CSN EN ISO 25817. 12. Soldering, brasing ? solder (brasing) wire and flux Technology of solder and brazing 13. Powder metallurgy Protective coatings, hot spraying, physical coating.

Are necessitated secondary (leaving examination) and in part university knowledge from physicists, mathematics and teaching about materials . Further from enclosure computer technique. In terms of exercising are necessitated basic pedagogic and didacted knowledge at processing semestral work. It is assumed successful graduation subject: Metal materials.
learning outcomes
Student copes problems choice technology metal materials in light of their essence, election in choice of projects and structures and dimension of choice elements made to order choice technologies in light of their reliability, service life and safeness running.
