Course content
- Geography of tourism, the role of tourism in the world economy and in the science disciplines. - Location of tourism, selective and carrying factors and requirements for tourism development. - Location factors and tourism conditions - natural - Location factors and tourism conditions - social - International tourism - geography of tourism according to UNWTO. - Leisure time and tourism, leisure time behaviour, recreation, recreation capacity, recreology - Regional economic, social, cultural and environmental impacts of tourism development in an area - Sustainable tourism, new attractions and activities in tourism - Typology of destinations and resorts, spatial organization of tourism. - Source areas and flows of visitors in tourism. Materials for each topic are during the semester available on Courseware, or in LMS Unifor. There are, if need be, specified further links for study sources. Verifying of students´ knowledge is based on those materials.
