Course content
- General characteristics of international economic integration. - Main milestones in development of European economic integration since the middle of the 20th century until present. - Enlargement of the EEC/EC/EU. Accession criteria. - Institutions of the EU and decision-making process. - Multiannual financial framework and budget of the EU. - European Single Market, Digital Single Market, European Economic Area. - Eurozone. - Selected policies of the EU: - Common trade policy. - Economic competition policy. - Structural policy. - Common agricultural policy. - Consumer protection policy. - Common transport policy and trans-European networks. - Environmental policy. - Strategy of the EU "Europe 2020".
