Course content
Theory of force systems (space force system of the same point of action, parallel forces in space, general space force system). Dynamics of mass points system. Kinematics of a rigid body (translation, rotation, general plane motion). Statics of a rigid body (translation, rotation, general plane motion). Dynamics of a rigid body (plane motion). Kinematics, statics of several multibody systems (a release method). Dynamics of multibody systems (a release method). Simulation in biomechanics of sport. Biokinematical chains, geometry of human body masses. Rheological properties of tissues, Hill's model of a muscle. Oscillation of discrete linear systems, vibrations and a man. Physical aspects of physical training. Application of biomechanics in some chosen sports branches. Practice schedule Statical, kinematical and dynamical solution of some chosen biomechanical systems and their application to human biomechanics, body exercises and sport.

  • Preparation for an examination (30-60) - 30 hours per semester

professional knowledge
The student knows - history, evolution, importance and utilization of biomechanics in physical training and sport, - basic anatomical notation. The student knows to explain the influence of basic mechanical laws on simple problems of human biomechanics.
learning outcomes
The student knows - basic laws of classical mechanics, - basic methods of tissue simulation, - basic principles in simulation of biomechanical chains. The students is able - to work with the vector of a force and force couple, - to apply force systems in biomechanics of sport, - to use kinematics, statics and dynamics of a rigid body in the human body simulation.
