Course content
1. Cybernetics - introduction, historical overview. 2. Basic concepts of systems theory and information theory. 3. Relationship between real systems and their mathematical models. 4. Principle of feedback and compensation control. 5. Introduction to linear time-invariant systems. 6. Modern approaches to the problems of process and machine control systems. 7. Examples of control systems in practice. 8. Artificial intelligence. 9. Principles of intelligent management systems. 10. Classification and decision making. 11. Use of knowledge. 12. Examples of speech recognition and image processing systems.
