Course content
History of solar energy utilization. Solar thermonuclear reaction. Solar radiation and its consequences for life on Earth. Transfer of solar energy. Advantages and disadvantages of solar energy. Solar energy utilization. Solar collectors. Design of solar heating systems. Storage of solar energy. Wind as a source of energy. Energy characteristics of wind. Principles of wind energy conversion. Classification of wind motors. Design of wind motors. Accessories. Storage of wind energy.
