Course content
Introduction, definition of post-relational database definitions.      Object-relational databases, standard SQL/99.      Dynamic and static SQL, the active database.      Spatial database systems, introduction of interest.      Modelling of spatial data. Querying in spatial databases.      XML database.      NoSQL database.      Temporal database systems, introduction of interest. Modeling temporal data.      Data warehousing, data mining.          Models and implementation of deductive databases.      Distributed databases, introduction, replication, fragmentace.Implementace distributed databases.      Conclusion, comparison, discussion of open questions.
