Course content
I. 1) Asia - territory definition; basic physiographic and socio-economic regions - Natural conditions (climate; hydro-conditions; natural risks); - demographic characteristics of a completed continent; II. Specific features of macro-regions of Asia: 1) China I. - development in the context of rich history; - natural conditions features; 2) China II. - ethnic, cultural and religious "map of China"; - Chinese economy: its position in the globalized world; - special administrative areas on Chinese territory; 3) India - development in the context of rich history; - natural conditions features; - Indian economy: its position in the globalized world; 4) Chindia - different premises for future development of both global stakeholders; - challenges in 21st century; America - delimitation of continent and regions Natural conditions Political and economic situation Population Conflict points Specifics of macro-regions: Canada / Greenland The U.S. Lowland South America (Brazil / Argentina) Andean South America (Peru / Chile)
