Course content
The basics of scientific methodology, focusing on socio-economic geography, socio-economic status of geography in the system of geographical sciences, geographic thinking. Geographical research in socio-economic environment of the object and subject of interest, plan research, basic research stage, the credibility of the research. Types of socio-economic research. Methods of socio-economic research, and analysis and synthesis, regionalization. Quantitative and qualitative research in socio-economic geography, basic approaches. Region, community, race as an object for socio-economic research. Presentation of results of socio-economic research.
