Course content
1.The legal order of the Czech Republic, the basic legal and implementing regulations in health care, financing of health care. 2. Medical law, selected topics of legal problems 3. The rights of health care workers and the obligations of health care workers. 4. The obligation of confidentiality in connection with the provision of health care 5. Protection of privacy and personal information versus the right to information 6. Legal liability in health care and its types 7. The civil liability 8. Administrative liability 9. The criminal liability 10. Employment liability

Knowledge: The Student will understand the professional legal terminology, he will learn basic legal principles and will understand the importance of law, its application and implementation in nursing. The students will be well-versed in the legal order of the Czech Republic, will know the rights and obligations of health-care worker. Skills: The Student will be able to apply theoretical knowledge to model situations, recognizes the type of responsibility of a relationship, evaluates and selects the adequate solution in accordance with the rule of law.
