Course content
Lectures: 1. Relationship between medicine and law. 2. International agreements of human rights and health care. 3. Declaration of basic rights and freedom - extracts relating to health care. 4. Basic legal ammendments in providing of health care. 5. Legal status of a citizen/patient. Responsibility for providing of health care. 6. Legal status of current medicine. Legal status of human reproduction. 7. Blood collection. Organ and tissue removal.Resuscitation and intensive care. 8. Human medicine experiment. Providing of health care. Lex artis. Relationship a doctor - a patient. Patient´s content. 9. Protection of personality. Medical documentation. Secrecy. 10. Criminal consequences of particular behaviour in connection with providing of health care. Seminars: 1. Establishment, change, expiration of labour-law relations. 2. Labour-law responsibility. 3. Rights and duties resulting from labour-law relations. 4. Labour unions and a collective agreement. 5. Strike. 6. Medical ethics. 7. Selected problems of interventions into body integrity of a person. 8. Facts of selected crimes relating to providing of health care. 9. Protection of personnal data.
