Course content
Basic categories and terminology of film-theory will be expounded during the lectures. In historical perspective will be introduced main trends of world cinematography and its directors. Particular Czech and foreign movies will be analysed and interpreted at the seminars.

learning outcomes
Students knowledge of problems of film production in area of world cinematography will be advenced. They will be able to summarize and evaluate concrete movie and its elements as personal artifical work. They will be introduced into the work of some of important world directors.
