Course content
The following topics will be focused: dramatic art as a way of being; stage manager and theatre; scenography and genres; modern czech scenography; theatre after 1945; movement theatre; operetta interpretation in 20th century; modern opera; opera conducting; music-amusing theatre yesterday and today; czech dance in the context of modern european theatre; antique, Jewish and Christian fundamentals of the european theatre; contemporary czech drama in Europe; changing of the dramatic art and the theatre club; contemporary movement of marionette theatre.

learning outcomes
Students will be taught the main terms from the dramatic art. On the basis of the theoritical lectures, they will be able to analyze and compare different theatre performances.
