Course content
Course content: 1. Physiological and psychological importance of sports activities for the disabled, methodology of physical training of the disabled 2. Organization of kinetic activities for the disabled in the Czech Republic and abroad. Suitable kinetic activities (recreational and competitive) for - wheelchair users - patients with demyelinization diseases - mentally disabled - clients with amputated limbs - visually impaired - hearing impaired - patients with neuromuscular diseases - clients with other physical disabilities

Competences: After completing the course students have an understanding of the kinetic activities for the disabled and are aware of their importance. They are able to assess the disability of the clients, analyse their possibilities and interests, choose a suitable kinetic activity and provide basic physical training.
