Course content
Setting the goal of therapy on the basis of examination, build short and long-term occupational therapy program according to the client's needs and based on the diagnosis, management client in the context of therapeutic units in individual and group therapy, self-sufficiency in training personnel and instrumental activities of daily living, the application of biomechanical and of rehabilitation approach in the short occupational therapy program recommendations assistive devices, training in the use of assistive devices, modification of articles of daily use.

Clinical practice under supervision
  • Contact hours - 80 hours per semester
  • Presentation preparation (report) (1-10) - 5 hours per semester
  • Undergraduate study programme term essay (20-40) - 5 hours per semester

Competences: After completing the course students are able to orientate themselves in professional documentation and communicate with the patient. They are able to examine the patient, analyse the results and and on their basis design short- and long-term therapeutic plans. They can educate the patient in active cooperation.

Competences: After completing the course students can based occupational therapy examination provides objective of therapy and establish a short-term and long-term occupational therapy program, administered therapeutic activities and techniques appropriate to the overall condition of the client with regard to the diagnosis of and doctor's prescription, educate clients to cooperate actively collaborates with the client's family and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
