Course content
Training of self-sufficiency in personal and instrumental activities of daily living in a psychiatric indication areas, work with hearing-and visually disadvantaged in special institutions, the use of therapeutic, creative and expressive techniques, guiding clients in sheltered workshops, practical implementation of ergodiagnostic for programs in the context of work rehabilitation and assessment purposes.

After completing of this course student can apply the occupational therapy concepts and models in children occupational therapy, classifies problem areas and needs of clients, establishes the goals of therapy, indicates the biomechanical and neurodevelopmental approach in children with cerebral palsy, can use knowledge of developmental kinesiology in compiling of the occupational therapy program and applies the basic elements of the Bobath concept in children, e.g. handling and orofacial stimulation, cam lead consultancy in the primary, secondary and tertiary prevention.

After completing of this course student can apply the occupational therapy concepts and models in psychiatry, classifies problem areas and client needs in psychiatry, establishes the goals of therapy in a psychiatric indication areas, can use therapeutic, creative and expressive techniques in working with psychiatric diagnoses, recommends and implements training in the use of assistive devices for sensory deprived.
