Course content
1. Subject and contens of economical statistics. Organizations of statistical service. Bazic categories of statistics. 2. Differencies and indices, applications. Mutual relatios of individual indices. Individual compound differencies and indices. Agregate differencies and indices. 3. Theory of time series. Modeling of trend komponent. 4. Statistics in enterprices. Measurement of productivity in industry, trade and services. 4. Statistics of productivity in main economic activities. 6. Expenditure and consumption of the population. 7. Statistics of prices. Aplicated price indices.Measurement od inflation. 8. Statistics of finance and currency. State budget revenue and expenditure. Currency statistics. Balance of payments. Stock exchange indicators. 9. National accounts. Contens of particular national accounts. Statistics of gross domestic product (GDP) and its developement 10. Other macroeconomic indicators. International comparison ? magical quadrangle. Statistical research of boom. 11. Statistics of population. 12. Population statistics in the CR, EU and other wold. Social statistics. Special problems of statistics.

The knowledge of basic matematics, statistics, microeconomics, macroeconomics and business economy are required.
learning outcomes
Student is able to: - Analyse developement of indicators figures using differencies, indices and time series. - Decompose a time serie into it's components and should know how to make predictions. - Compare indicators of economic level of different countries or regions, exploit statistical information in management. - Distinguish between various types of averages - average growth rate of real GDP, average inflation rate or average rate of unemployment.
