Course content
- Economic impact of Reaganomics and the consequences of the restructuring of developed market economies - Internal causes of the collapse of centrally planned system - Objectives and strategies of transformation - Transformation of economic institutions - Liberalization of the price system and the foreign trade - Privatization: the search for ways and solutions - The economic consequences of the division of Czechoslovakia - Causes of decline in the 2nd mid of nineties - Transition to the interventionist approach to economic policy in the early 21st century - Economic growth and the deepening public finance instability - Establishing economic relations with other European countries - Implications of EU accession - Prospects for future development
