Course content
1st exercise Qualitative analysis a) Evidence of cations: Pb, Ag; Cu, Cd, Bi, HgII, ASV, SbV, SnII, FeII, FeIII, Al, Cr, Co, Ni, Mn, Zn; Ca, Sr, Ba; Mg, Na, K, NH4+. 2nd exercise b) Evidence of anions: SO42-, SO32-, S2O32-, CO32-, PO42-, Cl-, Br-, I-, S2-, NO3-, NO2-. c) Analysis of combined samples and mixtures. 3rd exercise Gravimetric analysis Determination of iron and nickel. 4th exercise Volumetric analysis - titration: a) Acid-base titration b) Argentometric titrations determination of chlorides by course of Mohr and Fajans. c) Manganometric titrations - determination of ferrous salts. d) Complexometric titrations - determination of the hardness of water e) Iodometric titrations - determination of sulphites 5th exercise Electrochemical methods a) Potentiometric titration: determination of titre HCl by NaOH solution. b) Conductometric titration: determination of acetic acid by sodium hydroxide, direct conductometry. 6th exercise Optical methods a) Refractometry: analysis of binary mixtures. b) Photometry: determination of salicylic acid.
