Course content
1st lecture Comparison of instrumental and chemical methods of analysis. Principles of high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). 2nd lecture HPLC instrumentation. LSC in polar adsorbents. LSC in nonpolar adsorbents. 3rd lecture Ion exchange chromatography. Gel permeation chromatography. Affinity chromatography. 4th lecture Affinity chromatography. Gas chromatography. Determination of polar and non-polar compounds. Principles of two-dimensional chromatographies. 5th lecture Ionization of the sampl in mass spectrometry. Instrumentation MS spectrometry. 6th lecture Interpretation of MS spectra. Use of the MS, GCMS and SIMS. 7th lecture Stripping voltammetry. Pulse polarography. Electroimpedance spectroscopy. 8th lecture Principle and instrumentation of atomic absorption spectroscopy. 9th lecture Applications AAS. Principle and the use of atomic fluorescence spectroscopy. 10th lecture Principle of the main methods of X-ray analysis. Instrumentation and the use of electron microanalysis. 11th lecture Instrumentation and the use of X-ray fluorescence analysis. Analytical use of X-ray difractometry. 12th lecture Spectroscopies of electrons. Principles and use.
