Course content
1. Comprehension of Arabic used in media, including press and video-projections. 2. Reading and hearing for comprehension of written and spoken language. Widening the abilities of reading and discussion about topics related to current events, politics, economy, society and culture. 3. Reading of short excerpts from modern Arabic literature.

learning outcomes
The student will be able to express his own meaning in short sentences. Interpret shorter newspaper articles from Arab media with using root dictionary to search unknown words. Use extended stems of regular verbs in perfect and imperfect tense. Put together simple real conditional clauses.
