Course content

learning outcomes
Students are able to use their practical skills, apply their knowledge, adapt correct behaviour for work in ionising environment, modify their attitudes to achieve desired outcome, develop critical and assessing thinking, adapt correct behaviour in relation to the patients and their families as well as to their colleagues in healthcare facilities, apply treatment procedures or projections, identify the patient, assist in administration of radio isotopes, check the correctness of radio medical drugs and radioactivity, maintain records about dosage and time of administration, choose the most suitable devices or instruments, check the correct functions of all equipment, report any defect on devices, provide for correct identification of the image, select optimal operation parameters, carry out required analysis of the data, archive images, obey the rules for protection against radiation, optimise the dose, perform regular control of the devices, carry out calibrations of instruments, list all the tests available and required testing equipment, respect all legal provisions pertaining safety and health protection at work.
