Course content
Lecture: Specific rules and principles of activities of Medical Rescue Service Bases of selection of casualties, schemes, procedures Biological and chemical terrorism Civil protection in the CR, history, post, tasks. Intoxication from point of view of medicine of disasters, comparison with urgent medicine Shock phases from point of view of medicine of disasters, comparison with urgent medicine Seminars: Kinds of intoxication, therapeutical procedures Psychotropic substances, acute and chronic intoxication Poison/ war substances, specification, therapy, protection, rules of decontamination Biological agents, symptoms, treatment, protection

Students are able: To understand problems of extraordinary events, bases of crisis management, planning, structure of Medical Rescue Service, and Integrated Rescue System. To be informed of activities of Medical Rescue Service during extraordinary events. To know procedures of life-threateninig conditions, classification of casualties. To compare procedures of giving an urgent care in urgent medicine and during extraordinary events.
