Course content
Lectures: 1. Infections of the respiratory system - the upper path. Second infection of the respiratory system - the lower path. Tuberculosis. 3rd GIT infection. 4th Antropopatogenní and zoopatogenní salmonella. 5th Viral Hepatitis. 6th infection of the urinary system. Seventh genital infection systems. 8th Sexually transmitted infections. 9th Bioterrorism infection of the nervous system. 10th Infections transmitted by insects and arthropods. Erysipelas. 11th Nosocomial infections. 12th Rare and new infection. 13. The issue of bioterrorism. Exercises: 1. Principles of incoming evidence of biological material. Principles of communication of the results with respect to the privacy of the patient. Repetition of occupational safety and health at work in the microbiology laboratory. 2. Basic bacteriological soil cultivation technology. Isolation and vaccination of microorganisms. Soil surveys and third cultures grown - Streptococcus, Staphylococcus. 4. Collection, processing and determination of the bacterial genus Neisseria, focusing on gonorrhoeae and N meningitidis. 5. Any land and crops grown determining the family Enterobacteriaceae. Sixth Anaerobic cultivation of anaerobic microbes. 7th acid resistant microbes - detection. 8. Basic virology diagnostics, tissue culture. Serology virological infection. 9th Viral Hepatitis - meaning markers. 10th Retroviruses, HIV - laboratory diagnostics. 11th Microbiology urine. Microbiology cerebrospinal fluid. 12. Practical exam. 13. Credit test.

learning outcomes
Graduated understand the problems of the origin and consequences of infectious diseases and their prevention. Graduates will learn the principles of occupational safety and health with pathogenic microorganisms in microbiological laboratory. Students will be able to describe the different types of microorganisms and clarify their pathogenicity factors.
