Course content
Potential attacks against defenders. Introduction of basic techniques. 2. Elements of movement in self-defense situation. 3. Pain and its application in self-defense - levels of pain and their application. 4. Release and rescue techniques without counterattack. 5. Basic grips and grapples. 6. Basic knocks, kicks and beats. 7. Specifics of self-defense against an armed attacker. 8. Self-defense techniques from defender´s kneeling position as frequent position in attack. 9. Specificity of various techniques in cooperation of a lot of defenders. 10. Self-defense techniques in Aikido - Ikkyo, Nikyo, Sankyo, Yonkyo, Kote gaeshi, Shiho nage, Irimi nage. Kokyu nage as a principle and breathing exercises.

A graduate is able to fix a proper position in negotiation with an attacker. He /she is able to demonstrate basic types of falls. He/ she masters practical skills of basic grips and grapples. A graduate is able to cooperate with a lot of defenders within self - defense situations. He/ she is able to manipulate with a weapon properly.
