Course content
Lectures: 1.General principles of immunoanalysis. 2.Elemental substances, separation techniques. 3.Types of immunoanalytic methods, advantages and disadvantages of individual types of analyses. 4.Specific pre-analytic problems in immunoanalysis. 5.Basic types of devices for immunoanalysis. Manual pipetting methods, semi-automatic devices, automatic devices. 6.Multiplex analysis. 7.Immunoanalysis quality parameters. Internal and external quality control. Evidence of selected ionts. 8.Main rules of interpretation of results. 9.List of clinical application of immunoanalytic methods. 10.- 11. Use and specifics of application in endocrinology. Seminars: 1.- 5. Radioimmunoanalysis. 6.- 8. Chemiluminescence. 9.- 11. Internal and external quality control assessment.

learning outcomes
A student acquires basic laboratory habits in the sphere of immunoanalysis, acquaints himself/herself with highly specific and highly sensitive (nmol - pmol) procedures in biological material analysis. He/she makes practical acquaintance with chosen laboratory devices and will learn to assess the investigation quality parameters and principles of their long-term observation.
