Course content
Contents of lectures: 1. Introduction to the subject, the legal framework of the subject. 2. State health supervision in schools, operating rules for schools and similar establishments. 3. State health supervision in social and educational establishments. 4. Milk kitchenettes in hospitals. 5 State health supervision monitoring the required conditions for organisation of remedial and other actions aimed at support of health, increase in physical capabilities, or acquiring of specific skills (e.g. child camps, schools in nature, skiing courses). 6. State health supervision that monitors respecting of conditions in apprentice work (conditions for work of the young adolescents). 7. Issuing of provisions for project proposals in territorial planning and construction procedures. 8 State health supervision in food service establishments for children and adolescents. 9. Setting up of the critical control points in establishments with activities of epidemically serious nature -HACCP 10. Taking samples of food, drinking water, warm water. Measuring of the physical factors in school establishments. 11. Legal regulations in food safety. 12. Systems of rapid warning in food safety and safety of items of everyday use. 13. Afflictive substances in food. 14. Items of everyday use (toys, products for children up to 3years of age, cosmetic preparations, materials coming into the direct contact with food targeted to children and adolescents. 15. Conditions for examinations from the knowledge and recognition of fungi. 16. Basic hygiene requirements for building up and running of the establishments for children and adolescents. 17. Basic hygiene requirements for recreation and regeneration of children. 18. Basic hygienic and physiologic requirements for nutrition and food preparation (children and adolescents). 19. Healthy lifestyle education. Contents of practical exercises: 1. Eating ? calculation of biological and energetic value of food, assessment of variety in menu 2. Working sites for apprentices. 3. Assessment of project documentation. 4. Conduction of controls, management of administrative procedures. 5. Taking samples.

learning outcomes
Students have the knowledge that makes them eligible to act as a party in an administrative procedure. Students are aware of the risks and importance of workload in children and adolescents in relation to the risk factors of living and working conditions. Student will prove their knowledge in prevention of serious health risks. Students have a good competence for the assessment of project documentation that pertains establishments for children and adolescents. Students know the valid legislation for the relevant issues.
