Course content
General epidemiology. Epidemiological methods of work. Characteristics of epidemic process. Forms of epidemic process. Indices characterising epidemic process. General principles of fighting against infectious diseases. Fight against contagions in practice. Epidemiological surveilance. Immunisation system in the Czech Republic, types of vaccination substances. Disinfection, methods and check of disinfection. Sterilisation, its ways, check of sterilisation. Nosocomial infections. Nosocomial epidemiology.
