Course content
Principle of computer tomography, history. 2.-3. Characteristics of individual systems MDCT, computer tomography with dual energy. 4.-5. Indication necessary for investigation, patient´s preparation, application of contrast agents, potential averse reactions and responses using contrast agents. 6.-7. Computer tomography investigation of head and neck. 8. Computer tomography investigation of heart. 9. Revision.

  • Preparation for comprehensive test (10-40) - 8 hours per semester

learning outcomes
A graduate is familiarized with basic investigative knowledge and procedures using computer tomography. He/she will be able to describe patient´s preparation necessary for investigation, procedures using at administration and application of contrast agents. He/she will be able to know znát postprocessing modification of data, data transfer, archiving options. A graduate will be able to apply within own knowledge and competences the rules and principles of radiation protection during CT investigation.
