Course content
Lectures: 1. Development of surgery and surgery position at present, basic surgical terminology, various surgical departments. 2. Investigative methods in surgery, work and responsibilities of the various categories of workers, particularly with regard to emergency situations and responsibilities paramedic. Asepsis and antisepsis third. 4. Blood transfers, and infusion therapy in surgery. 5th trauma, multiple trauma (injury type and degree of threat to life). 6th Thermal injury, general and local. 7. Types of injuries in children. 8. Operational block, surgery, preoperative and postoperative care, complications, dietetics, physiotherapy. 9th inflammation and oncology. 10th Head and Neck Surgery. Exercises: 1 to 2 Preoperative, perioperative and postoperative period in terms of NMHO - specifics care and tasks NMHO. Investigative methods in surgery from the perspective NMHO - specifics care and tasks NMHO. 3 to 4 Postoperative complications - the specifics of care and responsibilities NMHO. Basics of rehabilitation after surgery. 5 to 6 .. Drains and drainage. 7 to 8 Stoma Care. Wound care. 9 to 10 Bandages and other procedures used in the surgical department - practical training. Surgical instruments. Dressings trolley.
