1. IR: concept, research object and intent, subfiels 2. Structural terms of IR 3. Inbternational system formation 4. IR theories 5. Conflict resolution in IR 6. International organisations 7. UN: history, structure, mission 8. The East-West conflict

learning outcomes
After passing the course, students will be familiar with the issues central to the field of international relations and the subfields (conflict resolution, international organisations, international political economy, IR theories etc.). They will be able to define IR subfields, identify and classify key issues of IR (Cold War, War and Peace, cooperation, international system), read blind map and analyze readings related to IR and apply the knowledge during the preparation for seminars.
