Course content
A daylong meeting with 1st year students. Students will be introduced to methods of study, in particular with data collection methods and their use. Attention will be paid to the question of scientific ethics, proper work with citations, references and notes.

After passing the course, students will be familiar with the methods of study. They will acquire key knowledge for their future working within academia. They will know basic methods of data collection and how to use them. Students will be able to: - use the knowledge and apply it in the study, preparation of papers and other scientific works - identify and use different methods of citations - use citations, references, notes etc.
