1. Conceptualization of human security 2. Human security in international politics and in foreign policies of particular states 3. Practical issues of human security 4. Land mines 5. SALW 6. Child soldiers 7. Post-conflict reconstruction 8. Security-development nexus and its implementation

After passing the course, students will be able to: - differentiate among various concepts of human security - define human security within international politics - identify human security within foreign policies of particular states - contextualize practical issues of human security (landmines, SALW, child soldiers) - analyze issues related to post-conflict reconstruction, interdependence of development and security
