Course content
1. Historic region of the Baltic Sea as a part of northern Europe 2. Hansa and German penetration of the Baltics 3. Swedish-Polish and Swedish-Russian wars for supremacy in northern Europe 4. Scandinavia before the 20th century (the Kalmar Union, independence of Norway) 5. WW I and rise of three Baltic states 6. WW II and changes in the Baltic Sea region 7.
