Students can: understand main points of standard speech on familiar matters, follow radio and TV programmes when the delivery is slow and clear understand texts using every day or job-related language, understand descriptions and feelings in personal letters deal with situations while traveling, enter conversation on familiar topics connect phrases to describe experiences and events, give reasons for opinions, narrate a story or plot of a film or book write simple connected texts on familiar topics, write personal letters describing experiences and impressions.
