Course content
Week 1 Introducing First Cambridge Certificate; content of FCE; describing photos, practising comparison. Week 2 Unit 1: key word transformation; Unit 2 : listening and reading; written assignment : Writing folder 1. Week 3 Unit 8: reading, grammar ( used to and would ), vocabulary. Week 4 Exam folder 14 : speaking; grammar : enough and too ; test practice. Week 5 Unit 19: grammar (modals), listening, vocabulary spot; written assignment : Writing folder 2. Week 6 Unit 20 : Exam spot; grammar : gerunds and infinitives. Week 7 Unit 21: phrasal verbs, vocabulary; grammar: clauses (concessive, purpose). Week 8 Unit 23: speaking, listening, phrasal verbs with off ; grammar : wish and if only. Week 9 Unit 24: reading; grammar: collocations; vocabulary: confusable words. Week 10 Unit 26: listening; grammar: relative pronouns; test practice; written assignment: Writing folder 7. Week 11 Unit 29: speaking, reading; vocabulary: English idioms. Week 12 Test practice. Week 13 Final test, conclusion.
