learning outcomes
Students will be able to: - explain basic philosophical, esthetical and poetological problems of European literature up to the Middle Agesm - explain transformations of lyrical, epic and dramatic genres and their cultural and historical relationsm - describe important works of particular national literatures, i.e. English, French, German, and Russian, of the given period and contextualize them within the broader cultural and social context.
