Course content
- Didactical transformation of general geographical topics on the high school level. - Environmental topics within teaching geography. - Sources of information for geographical lessons (articles, publication, websites, models etc.). - Integration of technical equipment in teaching geography (educational software, models, presentations, Google Earth etc.). - Informal education in geography as an addition to classic school lessons (didactical transformation of geographical processes using the exhibitions in Techmania science centre).

- Knowledge of general didactics for high schools - Knowledge of general physical and human geography on the final examination of bachelor study level
learning outcomes
- Student is able to do a didactical transformation of chosen general geographical topics. - Student is able to do a didactical transformation of chosen environmental topics and can integrate environmental education into geographical lessons appropriately. - Student uses relevant sources of information for geographical lessons (articles, publication, websites, models etc.). - Student can integrate technical equipment (educational software, models, presentations, Google Earth etc.) into geographical lessons appropriately. The technical equipment helps students to understand and imagine some more difficult geographical topics. - Student discusses linkages between formal and informal education.
