Key learning outcomes The graduate has the knowledge that helps him/her orientate, both practically and theoretically, in basic topics of market economy and the development of information technologies and play an active role in introducing, managing and administering information systems in business, economic or administrative subjects. The graduate in the above field proves specialist knowledge in the field of economic theories, business economics and management and basics of other special economic disciplines. Basic knowledge has been achieved in the field of information systems, artificial intelligence, database systems modelling and the like. Here he/she is, thanks to the achieved knowledge and experience, ready for competent operation in the real world. The graduate has gained advanced and above standard skills in the ICT field and is able to communicate in one world language competently (B2 level). He/she is ready to work responsibly and solve problems both in a team and autonomously. He/she is well equipped for future lifelong education. The graduate of the bachelor study programme is equipped with the necessary skills enabling him/her to function in the middle managerial and economic positions in companies operating in the field of purchasing and sales of information systems and information technologies, their operation and administration and in specialist operations in informatics divisions of manufacturing and non manufacturing organizations.

Profile of the programme This study programme is designed as an academic one. It consists of blocks of theoretical courses dealing with the field of economics, mathematics, informatics, company information systems, statistics, finance, business economics. At the same time, it comprises blocks of foreign languages and courses focusing on exploiting theoretical background in practice that the graduate can apply in various positions, for example specialist operating in the field of ICT in companies and institutions. The programme also includes practical training. This study programme is designed to equip the future graduate with theoretical background and skills necessary for study in a follow-up Master's study programme in a related field of study, namely Information Systems Management. In addition, the graduate is equipped with the necessary skills enabling them to apply for economic and managerial positions in the field of ICT in companies and institutions.
