Key learning outcomes Undergraduates demonstrate knowledge and understanding of basic mathematical techniques (in calculus and analysis, linear algebra, probability and statistics, numerical methods), fundamentals of geomatics (surveying, geographic information systems, cartography), spatial planning (geography, urbanism, legal context) and fundamentals of information technologies. Undergraduates are further able to participate on preparation and production of spatial planning instruments and documentation; manage activities in spatial planning; plan, process and evaluate a major project (diploma thesis). Undergraduates have intermediate English language knowledge (min. Level B1 of Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). Undergraduates are able to use geoinformation technology (GIT), professionally formulate a discourse regarding geomatics and spatial planning; write and orally present and defend a major project (bachelor thesis).

Qualification requirements and regulations Undergraduation is, according to the statute no. 111/1998 Collection of Law and statue no. 360/1992 Collection of Law, a necessary condition of getting an authorization.
Profile of the programme This study programme is designed as an occupational one. In addition to theoretical background (blocks of theoretical courses), it mainly provides skill-related courses/blocks of skill-related courses preparing the future graduate for employment in various areas/fields, such as Civil Engineering - Architecture and Land-use Planning.
Occupational profiles of graduates with examples in design and engineering establishments, urban studios, public administration on state, district and municipality levels, in companies and establishments dealing with investment construction, development projects and framework construction
