Expressing preference. Listening tasks. Week 7 How to write a letter of application. Civilisation: French economy. Week 8 Subjunctive: use. Expressing opinions. Evaluation. Week 9 Expressing quantity. Expressing prohibition and permision. Listening tasks. Week 10 Vocabulary related to politics. Civilisation: French and politics. Week 11 Revision. Week 12 Final test. Week 13 Final test correction. Evaluation.

Student should be able to: - understand narration of a story; - talk briefly about past events; - write briefly about events they have heard about; - write a letter about themselves; - suggest leisure time programme in written form; - produce simple telephone conversation; - understand the main information regarding information board restrictions and instructions.

Students can: - talk about their career or personal plans; - comment on information; - understand the main information of brief articles in press or on the Internet related to current affairs, e.g. political events; - understand the main information in conversation about education, political events, work and leisure activities; - express worry, calm somebody; - write a short CV and a cover letter.
