Students can: - engage in conversation about everyday topics and activities. - understand elementary information in texts from their field of study. - understand statements, phrases and frequently-used expressions relating to health care. - exchange professional information simply and directly. - use simple grammatical structures correctly and adequately.
learning outcomes
Students will be able to: -use broader vocabulary from the content of study and future profession. -use correctly common grammatical structures within everyday conversation. --find out basic information about the patient, his his/her history and current and former problems. - provide the patient with basic important information and give him/her necessary instructions. - understand simple statements in professionally-oriented communication. - use basic vocabulary and phrases necessary for everyday situations in the healthcare services. - understand simple authentic texts concerned with healthcare topics. - use common grammatical structures.
