Students can: - Correctly use common grammatical structures and vocabulary in everyday situations, - understand the main meaning of television and radio programmes, - understand texts written in generally used language that are connected with student's field of study or everyday life, - write a coherent text on a topic the student is familiar with or interested in.
learning outcomes
Student can: - read texts related to their own subject area and identify their structure, - give a clear presentation on a familiar academic topic, - take notes in a lecture or seminar which will be useful for later writing or revision, - make notes from written sources and write an essay, - follow much of what is said in a lecture, demonstration or presentation, seminar or tutorial.
číst texty související se studijním oborem a umět určit jejich strukturu, - přednést prezentaci na téma známé odborné/akademické téma, - udělat si poznámky ze seminářů a přednášek, které později poslouží jako podklad pro psaní textu či opakování, - udělat si poznámky z textu a na jejich základě napsat akademický článek, - porozumět téměř všemu co je řečeno na přednášce, prezentaci nebo ukázce, semináři či tutoriálu
