Student can: - understand main ideas in a presentation - present information about his/her academic experience and aims - identify topics and main ideas and key information in an academic text - expand notes into sentences - complete notes on the main points of a lecture - understand key information in a lecture - understand main ideas in paragraphs and longer texts - give definitions and short explanations - participate in a seminar presentation and identify its context - give a short presentation - participate in a seminar discussions and refer to points in a presentation - predict the content of a text - write a descripitve paragraph - write a summary of a short academic text - select and synthesize sources to use in a paragraph
