Course content
Introduction to the course; Discuss speaking experience; Speaking about weather and seasons. Describing nature; How to do things. Agreeing and disagreeing; Island survival activity. Discussion on controversial issue: Gay marriage and parenting; How to do things. Great Czechs; Politeness and rudeness. Discussion on controversial issue; Family tree (relatives). Relationships and marriage: roles and expectations; How to do things. Driving; Using a map; Describing locations in the country. Describing houses and flats; Quick topics. Czech education system; University departments; How to do things. Discussion on controversial issue. Czech system of government; Discussing books and films. Oral final test.
